Ferdinand’s Blue Store (first) is built.

[1869] Originally Ferdinand and company, the household furnishings store is operated by Frank Ferdinand and located at the corner of Washington Street and Warren Street. The wood-frame building is expanded in September 1887 and replaced by a new building (second) on the same site in 1895.*
